We get it. We know how hard it can be to be a Dad in the modern world. We also know there isn’t much help out there for us, which is why we created Daddy D.
This idea started in 2014, just as our founder found out he was going to be a father. He was scared, clueless and filled with so many emotions he didn’t understand and questions he couldn’t get answers to. So he reverted to his passion for writing and started a book- Daddy Dumbass. Life happened and he never got to finish it, but the need for a place where Dads can go to talk, to learn and to grow without fear of judgement, filled with like-minded fathers and professionals committed to helping kept growing and kept evolving. This is how Daddy D was born.
We are not experts, doctors, trained professionals or anyone you would traditionally go to for advice, but that’s the point. We are just like you- growing and learning all the time in a safe place. We have done the homework, found the right people to speak to and really thought carefully about the topics you will find interesting and useful. We exist to ask the questions, find the support you need and deliver it to you in a way that’s fun and easy to be a part of. And, you get to help us build it. This is a community so it needs investment from the community to grow. Whether as a contributor, partner, sponsor, guest or just an interested Dad- you get to shape its success.
